Project description:

 

Boskalis/VBMS was awarded the contract for the design, procurement, fabrication, supply, installation, and commissioning of the Inner Array Grid (IAG) of the Hohe See wind farm.

 

The IAG Scope of Work includes all permanent and temporary works required to implement and complete the IAG including: design of 33kV type tested submarine cables, fibre optic (FO) cables and all cable accessories, connection to the foundation structure with cable protection system, cable manufacture, delivery, submarine cable laying, burial, cable crossings, connections to switch gear / patch panels, testing and cold commissioning.

 

 

ARC’s scope of work:

 

ARC-ses was contracted by Boskalis/VBMS to:

 

•Assist with creating the installation procedures for the cable laying, cable pull-in and cable burial operations

 

•Review of preliminary As-built documentation during  offshore cable lay and cable pull-in operations
